Automation Engineer – Siemens PLC/SCADA
Role Overview
- Design and develop industrial automation solutions using Siemens PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems
- Perform PLC programming, HMI development, and SCADA configuration
- Execute projects including testing (FAT/SAT) and on-site commissioning
- Prepare detailed documentation (FDS, I/O lists, system architecture)
- Troubleshoot automation systems and provide technical support
- Coordinate with clients and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery
Key Requirements
- Hands-on experience with Siemens PLCs (S7-300 / S7-400 / S7-1200 / S7-1500)
- Experience with HMI/SCADA platforms (WinCC, TIA Portal)
- Strong knowledge of communication protocols:
- Profibus
- Profinet
- Modbus
- Ethernet/IP
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel for project execution
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in industries such as:
- Pharma
- Food & Beverage
- Water Treatment
- Oil & Gas
- Manufacturing
- Exposure to Siemens PCS 7 (DCS)
- Basic knowledge of industrial automation cybersecurity
